BrightChamps, a global live-learning platform, has entered Vietnam with a new “phygital” model for learning life skills.

Called BrightChamps Next-Gen Hub, the program combines online and offline lessons to teach skills related to coding, robotics, financial literacy, and communications. It aims to be the one-stop destination for kids to learn all non-academic life skills.

The first hub is set to open in Ho Chi Minh City on February 19, and a second is set to follow in May 2023.

BrightChamps was founded in 2020 by Ravi Bhushan. The Indian edtech firm, valued at US$650 million, recently acquired Vietnam-based startup Schola for US$15 million.

“Life-skills programs that teach kids crucial skills they will need as part of the global workforce will help kids grow into adults that are well-equipped to be a part of the global workforce,” said Bhushan, who’s also CEO of BrightChamps.

The new service also ties into Vietnam’s ongoing efforts to raise the competitiveness and quality of vocational education.
